What counts as a meal

Sorted by price alone, the cheapest things Disney sells are sprinkles, whipped cream and an extra shot of espresso. Take the middle price of a whole menu instead and you get a different lie: Columbia Harbour House reads $4.99, because ten of its eighteen lines are drinks. Its food is a $7.29 sandwich and $8.99 chicken strips.

So a meal here is the cheapest main dish plus a drink the same counter actually prices. Where a kitchen prices no drink, the dish stands alone and says so — a blank is never printed as free. And the dish is always named, because deciding what counts as a main is a judgement, and 18 rows that called themselves mains cost less than a third of what their own kitchen charges for food and were held back.

Where the children’s prices come from

Nowhere in this section did anyone decide what a child’s meal is. Disney heads its own menu rows — Kids’ Meals, Kids’ Entrées, the Disney Check meals — and separately heads Kids’ Appetizers, Sides, Drinks and Desserts. The first list is used; the second is not. A garden salad is out because Disney called it an appetizer, not because anyone here judged it.

The same question asked where the money is: Disney for the Rich!

Every price read off Disney’s own menu pages on 2026-10-06, and every distance measured between coordinates Disney publishes in its own park directory. Menus change without notice; the date is printed because the price is only true with it.
