Forty-five objects, and who documents each
The Society is mostly made of objects: certificates, fezzes, crates, a logbook, a portrait, a room. Ten of the forty-five are documented by the operator itself. Thirty-five are documented by somebody else, usually a photographer who went and looked. Both are useful and they are not the same thing, so each object says which it is.
Nothing on these pages is ranked, scored or counted down. The bands say what the record does, never how good anything is.
