On 18 November, Mickey Mouse’s birthday, a Hidden Mickey made by the sun appears for a few minutes around noon in the queue of Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom. Whistle While You Work saw it there on 18 November 2025, and Theme Parks With Elodie describes the same shadow. Disney does not list it on its own pages, so it is told here as they report it.

Theme Parks With Elodie describes the same shadow: on Mickey’s birthday, around midday and only under a clear sky, sunlight through the rockwork casts a shape like Mickey and Minnie, and one cloud at the wrong minute hides it. Watch at 10:42
Where the sun stands
Worked out from the solar equations of the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, at the ride’s place on the map (28.4214° N, 81.5799° W):
| 18 November | The sun at its highest | The sun at noon |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 12:11 p.m., 42° above the horizon, due south | 42° up, 4° east of south |
| 2026 | 12:11 p.m., 42° above the horizon, due south | 42° up, 4° east of south |
On 18 November 2026 the sun is highest at 12:11 p.m., 42° above the horizon. At noon, when the guests who saw it were let into the queue, it stands 42° up, 4° east of south. Whether the shadow forms at noon or at the sun’s highest point depends on how the rockwork is cut, and Disney publishes nothing on it: the people who saw it were there at noon.
The sky that day
The forecast for noon on 18 November appears here two days before. A cloud across the sun at the wrong minute hides the shadow.
