What I Want To Do

Everyone fills in their own. Then you read where they cross — which is a fact, not an argument. Nothing here leaves this device.

Add everybody who is coming — including the ones who will say they don't mind.

Ask for everything, not for what seems realistic. This sheet identifies what people want. It is not the schedule and it does not decide anything. If people cross things off before they write them down, you are comparing four private compromises instead of four answers, and none of them will match.

First: what is this trip now?

Before anybody fills in a sheet and long before anybody packs. Not what it was when it was booked — what it now is, given who is actually coming.

The last one is not a formality. A booking made two months out was made for a family that may not exist any more, and nobody reopens it — because saying something has changed sounds, to the person it is about, like being counted as a problem. Write it down instead of minding it.

Decide, plan, pack — in that order. Packing is the last step and it is the one most people start with.

Who is coming

Filling it in on separate phones

One person can fill in everybody here. If people would rather do their own, open this file on their device, fill in a sheet, then use Copy my sheet at the bottom of it and send you the code. Paste it below to add them to your party.
